Sea Bears Head to Edmonton Gunning for the Series Sweep
The Sea Bears have already handled the Stingers twice this season. Now they travel to Edmonton to do it a third time, with a home rematch waiting just four days later.

The Winnipeg Sea Bears (9-5) hit the road Sunday for a 5:00 p.m. CT tip-off against the Edmonton Stingers, opening the first leg of a back-to-back that will have both teams meeting again at Canada Life Centre this Thursday, July 9.
The Sea Bears have beaten Edmonton in both previous meetings this season, and they're not arriving in Alberta looking to manage a lead, they're arriving to close one out. Two wins over the same opponent tells you something about matchup fit, preparation, and execution. The challenge on Sunday is carrying all three into a road environment where the Stingers will be looking to flip the script.
Edmonton is a team that can hurt you in transition and from three, and they'll have the added motivation of knowing a Winnipeg rematch is four days away. For the Sea Bears, the value of this game goes beyond the two points in the standings. Building a 3-0 series advantage heading into the July 9 home date puts Winnipeg firmly in the driver's seat and it sends a message to the rest of the Western Conference about where this group is heading.
