BOOK CHURCHILL FOR AN APPEARANCE

BIO

A bear of few words and zero chill, Churchill has been the heartbeat of the Winnipeg Sea Bears since rappelling from the rafters on opening night. Equal parts hype man, distraction machine, and crowd energizer — he lives to get fans on their feet and opposing players in their heads. Wild by nature, unhinged by choice, Churchill is the most dangerous bear in the CEBL and he knows it.

Born to perform and built for chaos, Churchill didn't stumble into the entertainment business — he crashed through the door and never looked back. Every game is his stage, every fan is his audience, and every opposing player is a target. He's been known to derail free throws with nothing but a stare, start a wave in a crowd of three, and somehow make a T-shirt cannon feel like a weapon of mass distraction. Nobody knows exactly where he came from or how he ended up in Winnipeg — but the city claimed him, and he claimed it right back.

The Nanuq Effect:

Then Nanuq showed up. He didn't see it coming — nobody did. She was focused, calculated, and three steps ahead of everyone in the building. He was loud, unpredictable, and running on pure instinct. Somehow it just worked. She keeps his chaos focused. He reminds her that not everything needs a game plan. Together they're the most entertaining duo in the CEBL — and neither one of them would have it any other way.

2025: Returned for his third season with something to prove … Met the love of his life, Nanuq, who immediately started telling him what to do — and he's never been better … Raised his high five average to a career-best 71.4 per game while expanding his distraction repertoire to include interpretive dance, aggressive stare-downs, and unsolicited coaching … T-shirt cannon accuracy dipped slightly to 86.1% following an incident that is still under review.

2024:  Dominated his sophomore season, averaging 63.2 high fives and 27.5 hugs per game while maintaining elite t-shirt cannon accuracy (89.4%) … Continued to frustrate opponents during free throws …  Successfully defended his CEBL Mascot of the Year title.

2023:  Immediately productive as a rookie, averaging a double-double in high fives (55.9) and hugs (22.1) per game ... Consistently antagonized visiting team around bench and during free throws ... Ejected July 29 vs. Edmonton for public indecency after multiple warnings ...  Voted CEBL Mascot of the Year by fans nationwide.
