Winnipeg Sea Bears unveil "We Got Next" tip-off parties

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Sea Bears are proud to contribute to a vibrant and inclusive downtown with a new "We Got Next" event to take place before most Sea Bears home games this summer at True North Square. The event, presented by Hargrave Street Market, Academy Hospitality and the Downtown Biz, will kick off at 4:30 p.m., before every evening game. 

The event will inject positive energy into downtown, welcoming fans of the city's new professional basketball team to celebrate the sport at True North Square.

"We Got Next" will be entirely free of charge. It features a DJ, local vendors, games and more. 

Each event will begin 2.5 hours prior to each game's tip-off and end half an hour before every scheduled game time to allow fans to get to their seats at Canada Life Centre. 

Fans' first chance to partake will be for the team's inaugural home opener this Saturday, a game in which the club will make history for the largest attendance in CEBL history. "We Got Next" will open at 4:30 p.m. with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m.

The event will run before each evening home game for two hours and aim to give Winnipeg basketball fanatics a place to celebrate their passion for the game.
