Sea Bears Are 3-0 Against the Edmonton Stingers. Thursday, They Go for Four.
Riding a 100-98 road victory over Edmonton on Sunday, Winnipeg returns to Canada Life Centre Thursday looking to go a perfect 4-0 against the Stingers in the second half of this back-to-back.

The Sea Bears (10-5) sit first in the Western Conference, and Thursday is a chance to pad that lead. This is the second leg of a back-to-back against Edmonton, Winnipeg took the first leg on the road Sunday, grinding out a 100-98 win after trailing by as many as 12 points. Going 4-0 against the same opponent in a single season sends a message, and this group knows it.
Allen finished with 35 points and went 14-of-15 from the free throw line, closing out the game as the fastest player in CEBL history to reach 1,500 career points. He credited the comeback to a quality that's showing up more and more in this group.
"We just been resilient, taking their punches and not staying laid down, getting back up," Allen said. "We've been able to prevail, and hopefully we will do the same tomorrow."
For Isiah Osborne, the significance of Sunday's result goes beyond the two points in the standings.
"Road games prepare you for the playoffs," Osborne said. "Winning on the road like that is a good step for us."
Head Coach Mike Raimbault is not running out of ways to describe what Teddy Allen has meant to this team.
"His will to win has been absolutely phenomenal for us," Raimbault said. "He's a complete player, his scoring numbers sometimes get so much attention that all of those other aspects of what he's capable of doing get overlooked."
