BIO

A face familiar to Winnipeggers, Mike Raimbault returns for a fourth season with the Sea Bears now as the Head Coach and General Manager. He led his University of Winnipeg Wesmen men’s team to back-to-back Canada West Championship finals appearances in 2023 and 2024 and led the Wesmen to a program best finish in Canada West for the 2024/2025 season at 16-4.

Raimbault’s roots in the province run deep: he grew up and played his college years in Brandon before transitioning to the coaching staff. He earned a silver medal in that role and a CCAA title as the head coach of the UNBC Timberwolves. The current Wesmen head coach assumes the role of Head Coach and General Manager for the Sea Bears.
